It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

I know it's Raiders vs. Broncos and all that, but this crew needs to give it a rest with the flags.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Damn, Orton is just horrible.  Does he even want to be in there??  Hard to argue with those wanting their "Mile High Messiah".

Hoping Mcgahee doesnt see the field again.  Can maybe eek out a tie against katmai.

I just saw a chick with a Broncos t-shirt while going to work. Btw, have I heard correctly that Tebow is currently at bets QB #2B in Denver? What happened to The Chosen One?
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

QuoteMiami supposedly has a pretty good defense, since it was ranked No. 6 in the NFL last year. That prompted linebacker Cameron Wake to issue something of a challenge before the game to Brady.

"He's human, right? He has two eyes and red blood?" Wake said. "If you cut him, will he bleed? He puts his pants on one leg at a time."

I just saw a chick with a Broncos t-shirt while going to work.

She was probably just then making her way home.  Female Broncos fans tend a bit toward the wild side, from what I've seen.  Particularly the one who lifted up her shirt and then a few minutes later puked all over someone in our section during a Sunday night game a few years ago.

QuoteBtw, have I heard correctly that Tebow is currently at bets QB #2B in Denver?

That's the way it looks on their depth chart.

QuoteWhat happened to The Chosen One?

He didn't exactly dazzle in the pre-season.  But apparently that hasn't dampened the spirit of the pro-Tebow faction of Broncos fans.

Brady had a great game, 517 yards, a team record, and up there in NFL stats. But I'm worried that Miami got over 400 yards, I think just on passing, so the Pats need to shore up their defense else that would be a problem.

No

After this road trip, the next away game is Oct. 9th-- in Jacksonville.  I'm hoping he finds someone by then so I can go back to being a home game flunkie rather than a home & away flunkie.

Having said that, I wouldn't mind going to the Seattle & Baltimore away games :)

Obviously, I don't know your brother but not doing anything when you have someone filling up is much much easier then doing something.

That's not really the case here.  I am only helping on game days & maybe one or two weeknights if I have time.  During regular weekdays he & his other two guys are having to cover the work the 4th guy would be doing.  Plus with the 4th guy out he has to put together & edit the internal highlight film (assuming they won the previous game), which he hates because it's so time consuming.
