With Ed it's not just his cars, but his packs of twins he keeps unleashing on the world.

I used to have a '76 Plymouth with a 350 4-barrel that got better mileage.

 My first car was a '76 Plymouth Volare, Road Runner edition.  MOPAH FOREVAH

Mine was a Pacer. AMC!

Mine was a '70 Dodge Coronet.  With after-market A/C.

My Subaru averages 29/30 mpg, not too bad for a wagon.

19/28, 22 combined.

Though I gotta say, we have a pretty strong contingent of dicks who drive ricers around here- it's always funny seeing their confused expressions when a "family sedan"-looking car paces their Accord and blocks them from swinging around it at high speed. :menace:

EPA ratings, or what we actually get?  'Cause the stupid Focus doesn't get anywhere near what it should.  I used to have a '76 Plymouth with a 350 4-barrel that got better mileage.
Plymouth never made a 350 cid in the 60's or 70's. 1976 would have been a 318 or 360

I think the only car I ever drove that had a fuel economy of less than 20 mpg was a 435 hp luxury sedan. And I drove fast (up to 155 mph).
