:hmm:

Is this a promo shot for "Human Centipede 3: Arkestra Does Water Polo"?

Water polo is not a sport conducive to a hot frame on women.

Still, at least it's another opportunity to enjoy the Olympic Experience(tm) of transport chaos and overpriced food and drink all in a delapidated part of London.

So why didn't you apply to watch the women's pole vault ?

Those would probably be the hardest tickets of all to get.

#2's ham steaks are intimidating, and #3's KD Lang do is not appealling, but otherwise I'm in.

Seems like they've got too many women crammed into that shot.  It would be much better if it contained only half as many of them, at least they wouldn't be on top of each other blocking the interesting views.  Sometimes there is too much of a good thing.

Jesus Christ! Are you trying to get me fired? Thank God it's lunch break.
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

A non-pornographic magazine cover can get you fired?
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

If you're lucky, you get to watch on the megascreens slow motion replays of underwater fouls: when they grab each other's costume there's some interesting view.

I'm curious--the picture is of a magazine cover. Would you really get in trouble for that? On the other hand, the racist, sexist, and otherwise obsene thread titles might cause some problem for me if someone was to read them.

I'm embarrassed. I've been making the mistake of associating with you. It won't happen again. :)

Brazen

I applied for £400 worth and got £40 worth - two for the men's artistic gymnastics, the type with horses, vaults, rings and asymmetric bars :mmm: I win on aesthetics over women's waterpolo!

But Arkestra gets to see an actual sport being played. :contract:

Applied for £800ish and got £100 - two tickets to the boxing. Happy with that but would hope I'll be able to pick up some more. Be a real shame not to get a chance to go to the stadium itslef during the Olympics.
