if you do go with guitar, there is an important newbie step you'll have to take: learn the start of Nothing Else Matters (which is just "stepping" down on the strings one by one and then back up, basically), and play it on an occassion with a self-important facial expression :D

I saw it too many times :D

I played the electric guitar in high school and into college... in my experience the easiest riffs to learn that sound cool are the opening riff to Smells Like Teen Spirit and the main riff from Smoke On The Water.

Learning to cook is the only option that will get you laid, unless you suddenly get good enough at guitar to be in a successful rock group.

Also, don't give me that "too tired to go to the gym" rot. Getting fit will give you MORE energy.

Drop and give me 20!

It really should... Women are expected to put out after their partner cooks, right?

:hmm: Can you find somewhere I can cite regarding this expectation, so I can share it with Princesca? :)

Brain, Mal, are there some reference websites for your hobby?

L.

I usually go here: http://www.modelwarships.com/index1.html
Plenty of information to be found on the forum, and links to online suppliers.
For land-based models I believe Armorama is the place to go.
Don't know about aircraft, don't really care for them.

Hmm I don't know. Most of the sites I visit are mini manufacturers and stores.

You can try this one though. Pics and articles and shit: http://www.coolminiornot.com/

The company that makes my Wars of the Roses models from the GHQ thread: http://www.perry-miniatures.com/index2.html
