The Nook Color is an awesome device.  I just wish the wife would like me replace the stock firmware with Cyanogenmod 7 on hers.

I don't think I can top Cal's but if you want a more direct threat, try, "I prefer something I can make notations on with a pen.  That gives me a good excuse to carry a pen with me, so when annoying twits like you bother me, I can jab it in their eyes."
