A few days ago I saw a modified picture of the "marines raising the US flag on Iwo Jima".  The author replaced the US flag with the dollar sign.

The article mentioned by Vin said this was a Nasa colored picture.  Does that mean the actual image recorded by the telescope has been modified ?
