Yeah, the fun is definitely in PVP.  I just smoked a random player with my Great Patriotic Workers;  he resigned before the Soviet counteroffensive even arrived.   

Want to have a good time?  Download Plague Inc., and create your own pandemic to destroy the planet.  I ultimately lost the game, but I eradicated China as a nation with my first plague.  So it was a push.
