Quote from: Jacob on January 20, 2026, 03:03:33 PMWhat's going on with Poilievre and the Conservatives?

Have they made any statements of substance on... you know, all this... Greenland? NATO? Canada's place in the world?

Secondly - is Poilievre on track to win the impending leadership review?

Poilièvre congratulated Trump for his raid on Venezuela then went radio silent after he announced the US would be running the country (and subsequently told every US citizen to GTFO).

Later he Tweeted (or Xed?) the polar opposite about Greenland:

QuoteIt is unacceptable for the U.S. to seize the territory of a sovereign country, including by threatening tariffs on other NATO countries. Greenland is part of the Kingdom of Denmark and we support its territorial integrity. Conservatives support NATO and Canada's obligations as a NATO member. Canada should strengthen the NATO alliance and rebuild our own forces in the Arctic to combat threats also coming from China and Russia and to protect our seas, skies and soil.

Didn't Canada just seriously wargame a scenario where the US invades and how the Canadians would respond militarily?
There's an old plan from the 1930s.  I've seen nothing serious about it.
I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.

If Microsoft Excel decided to stop working overnight, the world would practically end.
