Good luck with the transfer Barrister. The natives were lucky to have you.

He put them all in jail. That's why he's moving. No more people to prosecute in Yukon.

Come summertime, Katmai will be our only rep in the Far North (not counting Sweden...which I won't).

When are you leaving T?

We should meet up for dinner.

One of my last chances to share tidbits like this:

my wife was awoken by howling wolves last night, which promptly set all the neighborhood dogs off barking. :Canuck:

There are no wolves in Edmonton?

Hell, we have coyotes down here.  They even wake the neighborhood dogs up at night with their girly screams. :)

Pfft - coyotes.  I see them every other day - hardly worth mentioning.

And no - no wolves near Edmonton.  You have to go to the Rockies for them I believe.

It's a ~1 million metropolitan area. They are usually long gone.
Colonel Caliga is Awesome.

There are coyotes on the fringes of Boston, so I don't see why there couldn't be wolves on the fringes of Edmonton.

Fair but when Wolves get too close to humans. We tend to start hunting them or drive them away. Coyotes appear less dangerous or maybe it's just size.

I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Oh there are.  My brother in law's farm maybe an hour away from Edmonton has coyotes.

But wolves require a lot more land, and ranchers in particular hate them.

Good luck with the relocation

And yeah, I've had much better experiences with Shaw than Telus.

Meh - my FIL is a now retired lifer from AAGT/Telus.  He's not a huge company man or anything, but he might think it odd for me to ditch Telus entirely.

More importantly, why would he care?

He doesn't.  But my wife would probably mention it in passing at some point.

It's the same reason why, once I move to Edmonton, I'm kind of obliged to get a newspaper subscription.  My dad's a life-long newspaper man.
