N. Korea jammed GPS signal in S. Korea

Like I said, I can navigate.  But one of the reasons I got my GPS unit was so I wouldn't have to keep a bunch of old maps in the car. 

I don't have a GPS unit and try not to keep a bunch of old maps in the car.

If you live in a large city and don't travel outside of it it's not really necessary if you know the city well.

I'm not sure why you'd need maps or a GPS unit in a large city that you know well. And if we're talking about a city like New York, I don't know why one would be driving about all that often.
