Looking at recent releases that I missed in cinemas that are just out for rental here in Spain: Home, Chappie, Focus, the new Marigold flick, Selma... what should I see from this lot?  Looking mostly for Friday night entertainment here.

I'm gonna watch it with a woman, so if the main point of interest is ogling Margot Robbie, that's not gonna work.

Ideologue

It's a fun, sprightly caper movie.

Crappie is a Blomkamp SF piece with all that entails, Selma is a dour political procedural with distressing scenes of violence (and outside of your historical experience), Home is supposed to suck.  Dunno about 2d Best Exotic etc.  Could be harmless but it's almost certainly not sexy.

We'll go for that then, light entertainment will do really.

Home is a nice fun movie.

I have a strong suspicion I'd agree; I'm only going by consrnsus.  In Cel's lady friend's case, it probably depends on how she views dates with grown men that watch cartoons.  I got tons of shit for that early on with my current GF, altho my sexual magnetism won the day.

Nevermind, Ocean's 13 is on the telly and says she wants to see that.

Revelation of character which is likely irremediable.

It's a good flic.  The cool Vegas vibe will help set the stage for fornication.

No shit, better than the other flicks he mentioned.

True, the night ended well.

The movie is godawful though. The first one was a decent caper movie (I love me a good caper movie), but this one it's like a con in itself. A bunch of handsome dudes talking fast, a lot of flim-flam and glitter, but nothing actually happens underneath.
