A J.G. Ballard adaptation (real, hard-edged Ballard) directed by Ben Wheatley with Jeremy Irons and Tom Hiddleston and a score by Clint Mansell :mmm:

Edit: Also that poster is beautiful.

So, any of you movie snobs watched Furious 7 yet?

Is it one step closer to that holy grail of movies - a movie that is nothing but stuff blowing up?  ;)

CGI stuff blown up?  :zzz

In Bruges is brilliant.

Anyway, I notice you didn't say anything about Vaughn.

Vince Vaughn & Colin Farrell? Expectations: lowered.
Colin Farrell's a great actor with the right script. In Bruges is brilliant.

Agreed that movie was great

Has Vince Vaughn had any dramatic roles aside from Psycho?

Oh yeah, I saw Return to Paradise.

You're right up there with Ide in movie opinion credibility.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

Two episodes left of this season of Vikings, and we are just starting Game of Thrones this weekend. Truly we are living in the nerdgasmist age of television.

Agreed.  Also I am very glad Vikings is so popular.  One of the actors and his siblings attended or are attending my sons' high school.  It is good to see him doing so well.  :)
