Finally catching up with Cucumber. Man they went dark. Good thing though that they then followed up with a grindr hunt episode. :D

Black Sails, season 2.
Nothing says I love you better than the head of your sworn ennemy on a pike.

I'd say it's miles ahead of season 1 in terms of quality.  Except the silly gay stuff they felt compelled to add.

Polish rightwingers, who already denounced "Ida" as anti-Polish, now having a fit over this picture of the eponymous star from gay pride march in Warsaw few years ago

Two close friends of mine wrote this flick coming out this summer:

The trailer looks good, but with Tarsem Singh directing I'm worried that it'll focus more on visuals than narrative.

Mockingjay part 1- pretty good
Lucy- pretty dumb, but it had its moments

Wanted to see John Wick, but I got a faulty disc.  <_<

Yeah. I saw someone on Twitter moaning that this was 'tonally all over the place' and I thought to myself that's what actually grieving is like

Episode 6 was wonderful though (and HAZEL!), probably one of the best TV deaths I've seen.

A female friend loves this show called New Girl. I saw it on netflix and decided to give it a try. I expected crappy girly stuff. But....it is actually OK :)

Schmidt is one of the funnier characters to come out of American sitcoms lately.

Yeah, Schmidt is wonderful and the first season is a joy.

Describe the pike.
Tough pirate with no heart threatens pretty girl.  Bad boy with a heart decides to intervene, try to find a way to justify it.  Bad boy meets tough boy, cut off his head, show it to the surviving crew, take ship, crew and merchandise.  Proceeds to plant head on a pike, on the beach so that everyone could see it with a sign "Angered Charles Vane".  Pretty girl proceeds to find bad boy with a heart and fuck their brains out all night long.  End of story.

Great show ;)

Been hooked to a Murdoch's Mysteries marathon the entire afternoon.

I set through a Star Wars original trilogy marathon at the theater once, and that was quite enough.
