That's reasonable for an indie film to be honest, quite in the high side actually.

Fear and money usually make great sex.
Women want me. Men want to be with me.

Red Scorpion at the Cinémathèque (B-movie night with another run by the mill italian rip-off of Dirty Dozen).
One of Dolph's best performances. There's even some humour!  They don't make anti-commie B-movies like that anymore. Great practical effects, Tom Savini even shows his expertise, and João Fernandes, DP of Director Joseph Zito (Missing in Action and Invasion USA) shoots the movie better than it deserved to be, by making the most of the troubled shooting thanks to the great Namibian vistas for instance.
Savimbi tribute inside. Finest Abramoff lobbying ever.

The bear couple on Cucumber's the most accurate thing in the show so far

Edit: Also some of the best monologues ever, especially from the sister.

I thought this week's was a confused mess...but an enjoyable one! :D

Banana - I may have to give this one up. It was too contrived and not in a good way.

Are all gay shows named after penis-shaped foods?

I identified. I've had enough dates that end with my naked partner weeping about his mother to sympathise

I liked it purely because it was the first trans actor playing a trans character in UK TV history :w00t: (The sister in Cucumber is famous for playing a trans-woman in a soap opera for years).

They're actually states of erection: cucumber, banana (unpeeled, peeled) and tofu.

I think that makes me doubly annoyed. They should have had something cool not a weak take on stalker ex/revengeful ex + touching hallmark family moment. Even the lameness of her not trying to make any sort of explanation to her date.

I watched Tofu once and found that so dull / I was really game for the mother and son talking about their sex lives together.

Tron Legacy or MIB 3? I have seen neither.

I fancy some popcorn scifi, and there isn't much that I haven't already seen.

What the hell...?
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

I think what I'm in the mood for (and until I saw it on a buzzfeed list -_- forgotten that I'd ever seen) is Lust, Caution.

Lust, Caution was my first NC-17 film while living in the US. I think it was a bit boring, to be honest. Interesting story but way bloated.
