Berberian Sound Studio - only film I've watched that's better on a laptop with headphones.

UGH.

Infernal Affairs. It was good.

Chief difference between this and The Departed, besides the use of Chinese and subtitles instead of Boston accents, is the running time. This film is considerably shorter. At times it feels a little rushed, but I'm not sure it needs to be 2 1/2 hours either.
To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

Stupid quiz.  That was not from the 1969 The Italian Job, but the 2003 one.  There's a damned Starbucks visible. <_<
"Everything that brought you here -- all the things that made you a prisoner of past sins -- they are gone. Forever and for good. So let the past go... and live."

"Somebody, after all, had to make a start. What we wrote and said is also believed by many others. They just don't dare express themselves as we did."

You sure?  I don't remember any driving down stairs in the remake.

Yeah, that threw me off, too.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

I drank because I wanted to drown my sorrows, but now the damned things have learned to swim.

So, started watching BBC's Three Musketeers. Good idea?

No, not even Pater Capaldi can save that turkey.
First Maxim - "There are only two amounts, too few and enough."
First Corollary - "You cannot have too many soldiers, only too few supplies."
Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

A terrorist which starts a slaughter quoting Locke, Burke and Mill has completely missed the point.
The fact remains that the only person or group to applaud the Norway massacre are random Islamists.

Aye, the Three Musketeers show is awful. Avoid it.

I quite liked it, but most people don't.  Make of that what you will.
I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.
