I have an irrational hatred of Doctor Who stemming from my childhood;  when we didn't have cable when I was growing up it was absolutely the only thing on television--on PBS no less--with that atrocious BBC production value after Saturday Night Live went off the air and the other networks shut down for the night.*  Talk about a boring ass Saturday night at 2am when you don't want to go to sleep.

Fuck Dr. Who.  I will never watch that bullshit.  The scars run deep.

*I also believe this is the same childhood trauma that forces me to subscribe to every cable channel possible.

I agree. That also goes for most British shows. Looks like rejects from a Dexy's Midnight Runners music video.

Animated films, I still have to go watch Monsters University, looks funny. I am also looking forward to Despicable Me 2, I love the minions. :)

Monsters University was pretty good.
PDH!

Caliga

Yeah, I liked it.  I'd give it 3/4 stars.

Wonder if anybody who's not aged 40-50 gets that reference.

I'm 38 and got the reference. :)

But I guess that actually just re-inforces your point. :(

I only play to the elite crowd, the 40+ crowd.

Anyone watching The Killing S.3? I'm liking it so far.

You know I am.

I miss having the political angle. Still, good show.

Try the danish original.
First Maxim - "There are only two amounts, too few and enough."
First Corollary - "You cannot have too many soldiers, only too few supplies."
Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

A terrorist which starts a slaughter quoting Locke, Burke and Mill has completely missed the point.
The fact remains that the only person or group to applaud the Norway massacre are random Islamists.
