Tell us again what you think of Wyatt Earp.

Go ahead, keep melting your brain with boilerplate Hollywood pap like Tombstone.

Same monkeythink that makes people prefer Armageddon over Deep Impact.

Aren't those two sets of movies essentially the same?

Keep working your way onto more lists, pal.

Gays don't like District 9.  Shocker.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

So next you're going to tell us that Volcano was WAY better than Dante's Peak.

(Have never seen either of these, or Deep Impact)

Eh, I thought gays were supposed to love period movies. District 9 dragged as much as most of them.

Gays don't like period pieces because of the pacing.  They like them because of all the pretty costumes.

Also, there was nothing wrong with the pacing of District 9.  Maybe you should just stick to movies about fast cars and furious retards.

What about the pretty insectoid alien costumes?

I don't demand constant explosions. I do expect something, whether it's action, interesting plot or character developments, or funny gags. District 9 has long stretches with none of these.

I remember being excited for District 9 and then kind of meh afterwards.

Winner of THE grumbler point.

Dante's Peak was cool.  You could see the superiority of GM's trucks as they were the ones able to drive through laval.
I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.

I've only caught an episode here and there, mainly from being too lazy or busy to change the channel...but man, True Blood is stupid as shit.

katmai

Contrary to rumors you are not part of it's demographic trying to  appeal to.
Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son

Kilmer was the highlight in Tombstone.

Agree that DP> Armageddon
