Tried watching 'Life After People' , gave up after 3 minutes:

God Damn that must be the single most stupid ever for a 'documentary' series.

Why not have a series 'Life after everyone lost their right arm, all carnivores became herbivores and visa versa' ?    :hmm:

I could have warned you and saved those 3 minutes.

It was utter crap.

Watched part of the new Looney Tunes.  I saw a bunch of the latter half of the season's episodes and they were hilarious. Clearly it took some time to build up steam.
PDH!

The show's nothing but a vehicle for showing landmarks wither and crumble.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

I thought it was pretty good.

I thought it was ok, but the premise was extremely silly.

Humans dissapear?
Meh. I didn't think it was too silly a premise. It was just a way of following their goal of looking at what would happen to the world if humans died off somehow without having to get bogged down in all the crap of dealing with a disease or a war already destroying a lot of the monuments they want to crumble and that sort of thing. Makes for far more family friendly viewing without killing everyone too.

It was OK. Like, why the fuck not.

Watched Pink Floyd's 'Live At Pompeii'.  Simple idea, well executed.

You never saw that before? Great film.

Watched a film called Bernie with Jack Black. A sort-of-documentary about Bernie, a super nice Christian funeral director who marries a rich widow and kills her. Based on a true story. Quite well done.

The Amazing Spiderman- Its OK. Not great but not bad. The cop looks so like the guy who played the Green Goblin in the old one....

Yeah.  It was more interesting when it was a book called 'World Without Us'.  The book wasn't crumbling landmark porn, but rather focused on how much work goes into maintaining the human world and how quickly things can crumble if neglected.  And then it goes into the Great Garbage Whirlpool in the Pacific for a while.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

I'd managed to forget about that. :(  Can Hedorah be far behind?

Watched The Eagle......Meh. Better time was spent watching the Harry Potter Deathly Hollows movies with the kids. Those were actually pretty good.

That said, there is a really hot redhead at work.  But she's hot because she's, like, 5'1" and 90 pounds.  The red hair just covers her scalp and, perhaps, pubic area.  Unlike some of you, I don't fetishize specific characteristics like some weirdo.
