I`m still only halfway through the current True Blood series. Just doesn`t grab me at all.

Season! Fucking Season.

Getting ready to make IEDs against American Occupation Forces.

"But I didn't vote for him"; they cried.

Source code.

Nicely done, with a decent ending despite it being rosie-rosie. :)
I guessed the terrorist from the very first scene though.
I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.

If Microsoft Excel decided to stop working overnight, the world would practically end.

Thank you.  The highlight is seeing GOOP lady (Apple's mom) have that seizure.

Does they spend an hour talking about the economic downturn?  That's what The Girlfriend Experience did.  God forbid a movie about a prostitute have anything to do with the premise.  Pro-tip: non-linear storytelling only works when care about the characters, or can at least hear what they're saying.

Solaris was the shit, though.

Current reviews: The 'Burbs (9/10); Gremlins 2: The New Batch (9/10); John Wick: Chapter 2 (9/10); A Cure For Wellness (4/10)

I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Ed Anger

X-Men Origins: Wolvertard.

Bleh. I knew I shouldn't have watched a stupid comic book movie. About as exciting as Heath Ledger 6 hours after his overdose.

I liked Jackman's naked backside.

I drank because I wanted to drown my sorrows, but now the damned things have learned to swim.

More Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.

QuoteAlcon principals Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson secured rights to the project the week of the original film's 20th anniversary from RGM Media, John McMurrick and Chris Taylor. Kosove and Johnson will produce along with Michael DeLuca, John Baldecchi, Chris Taylor and Kurt Wimmer ("Salt," "Law Abiding Citizen," upcoming "Total Recall"), who also wrote the screenplay. RGM Media principal Devesh Chetty and investor John McMurrick, Chairman of Marloss Entertainment, will serve as Executive Producers.

The film is being fast tracked, with the filmmakers set to take the project out to directors soon.

The new version is set in the world of international extreme sports, and like the original involves an undercover FBI agent infiltrating a criminal ring, but plot points beyond that have not been revealed by the filmmakers.

State Johnson and Kosove: "Who doesn't love the Kathryn Bigelow original and its pure heart-pounding action and thrills? Kurt's take infuses the story and characters with new twists and settings. We're very excited to be in business with Kurt, and Michael DeLuca, Chris Taylor, and John Baldecchi."

Adds DeLuca "'Point Break' wasn't just a film, it was a Zen meditation on testosterone fueled action and manhood in the late 20th century and we hope to create the same for the young 21st!"

In addition to the feature rights, Alcon has also secured television and gaming rights to POINT BREAK.

The Bigelow original, starring Keanu Reeves, Patrick Swayze and Gary Busey, was produced by Largo Entertainment and released by Fox. The film went on to become an instant classic and remains beloved by the youth culture around the world.

To quote some guy I saw in a clip on a Comedy Central promo, "No Swayze, no way-zee."
To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

Point Break wasn't just a fucking terrible film; it was a fucking terrible film starring Keanu Reeves, Patrick Swayze, Lori Petty, and Gary Busey.

And it still blew goats.

Saw some of The Long Riders last night.  Not as bad as most movies involving the Carradine brothers.

Man they beat the shit out of the horses while filming.

Also most of Visionquest.  Probably one of the best loss of virginity movies ever made and definitely the best high school wrestling movie.
