Just saw Too Big to Fail.

Good cast, excellent production values.  Not at all flattering to McCain.
Yeah, I really liked that.  Giamatti made a more interesting Bernanke than Bernanke.
Yeah.  And they made excellent use of James Woods.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Monk and the dothead supermarket guy kind of threw me.

Too Big to Fail

Good movie.

Not much use for black actors in that one.
If you let someone handcuff you, and put a rope around your neck, don't act all surprised if they hang you!

- Eyal Yanilov.

Forget about winning and losing; forget about pride and pain. Let your opponent graze your skin and you smash into his flesh; let him smash into your flesh and you fracture his bones; let him fracture your bones and you take his life. Do not be concerned with escaping safely - lay your life before him.

Species 1, 2, 3.  The first one is decent enough.  The 2nd one is silly, the 3rd one is boring.

Do the other two have nudity? Taht was the best thing about Species 1.

Take Me Home Tonight. As formulaic movies about losers who don't know what to do with their lives and end up with girls out of their league go, it was surprisingly great.
To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

The Larch

I watched the first episode of Breaking Bad yesterday, as I had it in my "to watch" pile for far too long and was heavily recommended by some friends. Does anyone here follow the show?

I had a quite good first impression, but it seems strange to have Malcolm's dad as a meth cook, though.

At first I didn't recognise him but then a few episodes in it clicked and...yeah. It was weird.
The first series is amazing.

One of the best show's on TV.

Trollhunter. Marti, Norge & Brazen go documentary filming in Norway and accidentally end up helping a libertarian trollhunter kill some nasty ass trolls. the first one has two obvious sockpuppet heads. Norge dies first, the rest at the end, sorry for the spoilers.

:p

8 buckets of Christian Man-Blood outta 10

Funny stuff.

:p

Watched The U on ESPN.

Man, Osbourne's decision to go for 2 really looks monumental in hindsight, doesn't it?

Only seen every episode.  The stuff's like crack.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

Slargos

Griff the Invisible.

A very strange and pathetically beautiful story.

As great as the song?  I doubt it.
