X Men First Class- Pretty good. Like X-Men crossed with a 60s Bond film.
Though...questions are floating around in my head. How the hell did Charles explain Mystique to his parents- just brain washed them into thinking they had a daughter? Also...I'm pretty sure Magneto and Professor X were supposed to be together for quite a while, founding the school and all that. Not just a one shot blast like that, I was surprised they went this way, was hoping they would leave things open for early X Men sequels.
The way the CIA agent suddenly fell for Charles was weird. She vanished for half the film seemingly then reappeared on the plane with me having to think hard to remember who she was. When did she have time to get close to X?

Magneto didn't found the school.  By the time Xavier founded the school, Magneto was already pursuing his own agenda.  In the comics, they worked together hunting Nazis in the 50s, when Magneto already thought his family dead and Xavier had served in the Korean war.  They were also involved in humanitarian work in Israel, helping the Jews there.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Saw most of Dinner for Chumps.  Bleh.  No pace, lines not that funny.  Love interest is very easy on the eyes though.

I really liked Lost in Translation. Only seen it once though, maybe I'd feel differently after a second viewing.

I find watching it hard though because Scarlett makes me weep for what I cannot have.

Word. Any film that begins with a long take on Miss Johansson's bum in panties deserves praise.

I only saw the sequel.

I know, but:

a) It doesn't have Scarlett Johansson on it.
b) It's not shown in a big screen.

:P

And it's not like the movie doesn't have other appeals. The scene with Bill Murray shooting the Japanese whisky add is hilarious.
