Habbaku

She played Emma Frost.  She deserves a Razzie Award for her work in it.

If that's her normal level of acting, I'm suddenly rather wary of watching all of Mad Men.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

I dunno.  We haven't seen Blake Deadly stink up the screen in Green Lantern yet.

I think her style suits her Mad Men role.

yeah it was more of a Betty Draper-Frost performance.

Zoupa

She is insanely hot, so she gets a pass.

I'd say "word", normally, but in her case I'd have to use the whole dictionary. Damn, damn, and damn!

The fact that she plays Emma Frost and walks around in lingerie for the whole movie makes me think that the rest of the actors and crewmen in the films had raging boners for as long as she was shooting a scene.

Yeah.  I saw the trailer, and what little I saw of her in that made me gag.  Poor Carol Ferris.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Slargos

Mad Men is a lot of fun. Had I known, I would've picked it up much sooner.  :hmm:

Draper is a bit of an asshole though, but then so are most of the characters.

Admiral Yi

The Other Guys.  Least funny Will Ferrell movie I have ever seen.  Although some of the lines about the Prius were pretty good.

When Yi say he watches a movie, he doesn't watch them in the way you and I understand as watching them.

Will Ferrell's comedy is pretty uneven in general. I'm glad his tenure at Dunder Mifflin was temporary, that character was already wearing thin.

Just finished Throne of Blood.

It's MacBeth done samurai-style by Kurosawa. Of all the Shakespeare-with-the-setting-changed movies I've ever seen, this one is the best by far. I kinda understand why it's so cliche for first-year film students at USC to love this guy. The arrow scene at the end made me laugh.
