So The Event won't be renewed next year. The only American network TV show I actually watched.

Most of the good shows are on cable these days. Though if Josephus liked The Event...

I thought it was Ok, for network TV. Once I invested 3-4 episodes, I thought I'd stick with it. I'm very brand loyal that way.

Still, yeah, most everything else I watch is on cable.

I found it silly.  The guy speaks normal english all the way through the movie, and once it's revealed he's a russian spy, he starts speaking english with a russian accent.  So dumb.

V has been cancelled, btw.  Sad, but expected.  The show could have been way better with this concept, and it started so good, albeit some minor flaws, but they never corrected the flaws, unfortunately.

It's the same with all religious themes in shows that are meant to appeal to the masses, you can't prove or disprove god. At some point Anna will reach a wall where she can either find a soul or realize that the apparent soul is just an amalgam of various effects created in and by our brain and/or society.
