Is John Wick any good?

If you enjoy this kind of small-scale violent action movies, yes. If not, it's not good enough to really trascend the genre.

Doesn't it have Peter Stormare btw? But then everything has Peter Stormare.

Michael Nyqvist.

OK then I'll pass. Is Peter Stormare in John Wick 2?

Briefly.

So, on top of all the Star Wars stuff (see its own thread) and a bunch of other announcements, Disney has also announced the following during its presentation for investors:

From Lucasfilm

- A new Indiana Jones film, with Harrison Ford and directed by James Mangold. It's already in pre-production, it'll start shooting next year and reach the big screen in the summer of 2022.

- A Willow tv series starring Warwick Davies.

For FX

- An Alien tv series.

- A remake miniseries of Shogun.

- A comedy series from Taika Waititi about four teenagers in an indian reservation in Oklahoma.

- 4 more seasons of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which will apparently make it the longest running sitcom in history.

Bucketloads of stuff for Disney +, including a new Mighty Ducks series starring Emilio Estevez, a series adaptation of Turner & Hooch (the Tom Hanks 80s film), a remake film of Three Men and a Baby, biopic films about Chris Paul and Giannis Antetokounmpo, four animated shows based on existing Disney properties (Zootopia, Moana, Tiana and Big Hero 6, a sf Afro-futurist animated show, three Pixar shows (including one based on Cars), a Disney+ exclusive Pixar film and I'm sure that there's a bunch more stuff that I'm forgetting.

New feature films were also announced, including the Little Mermaid live action remake, a Latin-American fantasy about a family living in a magical house in Colombia, with songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda and three Pixar films, including a Toy Story spinoff about Buzz Lightyear (to be voiced by Chris Evans).

There's also new Marvel stuff but I'll put it in another post as this is turning quite long already.

A remake of Shogun, why? The original was a classic.

They might have missed one or two super-heroes here&there, soon to be rectified, no doubt :P

I still want to see it.  I really liked the original, and the translation of the book too.

I don't think I ever expected to hear about a TV series for Willow or Turner & Hooch.
