The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

We've been watching Community.  I was looking forward to the infamous Dungeons and Dragons episode, only to find it was pulled because of the PC Police. :(

I hate that shit so much.

How did it offend the PC police?

The thing is, I don't think it did? I think it was preemptively pulled, because they were concerned some people might see Drowface = Blackface.

I don't recall any particular furor over it.

Final Destination. Kinda worth it just to see Stifler's head sliced off.

It is referenced in the episode - Shirley says "are we going to allow this hate crime?" pointing at Chang

The series marks Cage's latest foray into television. In May, Variety exclusively reported that the actor would play Joe Exotic,

I didn't see Tiger King, but I'll watch this

Either TV show or movie?

We know about the Cassian Andor show, the confirmed Kenobi show (shooting starts in January), the Bad Batch (animated), and there's rumors of an Ahsoka show (possibly animated) and a Boba Fett show.

But they might also come out with a new movie or movies.

So, is it an ornament or are those headtails a physical attribute? I've seen them multiple times in the Star Wars universe and just thought they were a different species but on Ahsoka they looked more like stuffed socks.

It's part of the physique for Togruta: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Togruta

People have commented on Ahsoka's headpiece looking off (esp considering her animated look which was larger, though not as large as Shaak-Ti's:

General consensus is that they reduced it to make it work with the stunt work (which Shaak-Ti never had to do).

They do the same thing with other shows. Random episodes will just randomly be altered or dropped from streaming services if for some reason somebody determines them to be a problem.

I thought I read somewhere that they confirmed it.

In Canada the industry is completely dominated by one company: Cineplex.  There's a smaller competitor Landmark that's maybe about a quarter of Cineplex's size, but then that's it other than art house and indy theatres.  Any ways, I suspect they probably have the capital to be able to ride this out (and the indies are all largely non-profits anyways).
Cineplex covers the big cities, indies for profit cover the smaller cities around here and in Montreal, they have Guzzo which is a big regional player.
