Saw a French Belgian movie Raw (Graves) on Halloween. I'd heard stories about how people fainted or left the theatre vomiting at the Toronto International Film Festival a year or two ago.

Didn't find it all that horrific, but for a contemporary horror film better than most. A young girl, a vegetarian, goes to a Veterinary school where as part of her hazing, she is force fed meat. And then she develops a taste for it....7 severed fingers out of 10

The Jungle Book remake I get. The main character is human. Live action...it is sort of live action.
But with Lion King... it'll basically just be realistic 3D animation  no?....so....why?

Seems they've now suspended production on Season Six of HoC.

And now Spacey has been fired from the show. They said they are now using hiatus to see how they might continue it.

Regarding the sudden influx of sexual abuse/rape allegations, I remember when I lived in NYC that Weinstein's behavior was one of the town's worst kept secrets. "If you're a woman never meet Harvey Weinstein alone" is a sentence that I heard, more than once.

I guess it's good that the omerta has been broken, but damn, the business needs to really take hard look at itself.

We're having some cases coming out in Spain, too.
