I saw the last episode of "30 coins". Great ending! That was a good show, just one season and I wish it would go more.

Finally watched Stranger Things S.3. (I never liked S.2, so was hesitant).

Anyway...remember a while back we were talking about product placements on shows? Man, Season 3 of Stranger Things wins the Oscar for that. Product Placements all over the place.

I thought that s3 was better than s2, but at the same the confirmation that s1 was an abherration in its goodness.

What did Jack do? (David Lynch, 2017)

Noir short film, about 17 minutes. David Lynch interrogates a talking monkey in a quite disjointed dialogue that consists almost entirely of noir-ish phrases and slang. Shot in black and white, with film scratches all over the video. Absurd and funny in an parody way. Not sure I would have included the song/music number and the delivery of the monkey dialogue was a tad too grating. But I suppose that was the point.  :hmm:

I think I liked his short movie detailing his cooking of quinoa better, though.

The Favourite - Kind of hard watching it whilst I'm watching The Great as it broadcasts. You can clearly see its by the same guy in so many ways. It does just feel a bit like a parallel world version of the show.
It's.... Alright. Not the amazing thing it is heralded as. Kind of obvious what will happen and not particularly polished outside of the funky camera work. Less Olivia Coleman than expected too. But perfectly watchable.

I started watching Atlanta. I'm not a rap fan. Though it's quite good.
I've noticed I really need to give it my full attention. The accents are so hard that they don't parse when passively watching :lol:
