See three episodes of Californication back to back to back t'other night.  Had never seen it before.  Enjoyable.  Nice eye candy, good dialogue, and the most realistic barfing I have ever seen on the screen.  That turd he dropped on the dude's SUV looked authentic as fuck too.  I wonder if he took one for the team and actually pinched one out on camera.

Saw the new ABC series, The Firm, inspired by the movie of the same name.

The first and last 5 minutes have some suspense in it, but it feels like déjà vu.  The rest of the 2hr pilot was dedicated to some boring lawyer stuff where the goal was simply to portray the main character in a good light, having nothing (well, almost nothing) related to the main plot.  It will air on Thursday nights.  I ain't gonna watch this one.  Maybe if you crave lawyer's stuff like some crave hospital's stuff you'll watch it.  For my part, I think I'll record the Gargoyles re-run on Disney channel, it might prove more interesting than that :P

Saw the 3 Astérix movies during the holydays.
#1 is crap
#2 (Cleopatra   ) is excellent
#3 (Olympics) is crap, not even funny.

Seeing #2 after being forced to watch Bridget Jones 1&2 was a nice relief.

Watched the first two episodes of the latest (apparently last, damn you America!) Bored to Death series. It was awesome.

Also finally got around to watching Nick Cage in Bad Lieutenant. It was thoroughly meh. Whats with all the good reviews?

Yeah, #2 was ok for the obvious reasons.   :)

I thought Bored to Death was aptly titled.

You should be forced to watch the Battletech cartoon.

Gargoyles was good at first, deteriorated later on.

Exo-squad was good quality, but was really more adult-oriented right from the get-go, with the story-driven plot that was quite sophisticated for a morning cartoon..

Battletech was interesting, but failed to meet it's potential.

Though I had never read the comics, I was actually quite partial to the very short-lived Cadillacs & Dinosaurs cartoon.

I tried. I don't think it went anywhere and I got bored.

I wish the 2nd season of Exo-Squad had been produced.

Megas-XLR was good.

Ah, ack, thought you meant that I was confused and saw that one instead.
But it is the Cage one that has the good reviews. :hmm:
