I am so tired of baby names lists. :bleeding:

Maybe just ask us on Languish to do the naming. What could possibly go wrong with that?  :hmm:

Quote from: Peter Wiggin on April 08, 2010, 03:28:27 PMYour 990-1000 list looks like it's alphabetized.

Yeah.  Probably because they alphabetize the ones that have the same number of occurrences, so these are probably all at the minimum threshold for being included on the list.

Or Circe.

I actually thought of the Furies during the naming process. Tisiphone to be exact.

I've always had a soft spot for "Briseis" if a name from Greek or Roman legends is called for.

I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Didn't some idiotic actress or singer or something name a kid Ruby recently?  Most people can't think for themselves and need TV to tell them what to do. :)

Looks like a list of emo abstinence-porn vampires.

We named the dog Aidin.

There was some big news story here recently where a house caught on fire and the nanny saved a kid's life by literally running through fire to rescue him and suffering third degree burns in the process.  That kid's name was "Aden".

LOL is his brother named: Muscat

One of the Gosselin brats is named Aaden or some such bulltshit. But I only watched a few shows to watch Jon murder Kate for nagging. IT NEVER HAPPENED.

Then stop holding on & let your wife make the choice.

If I didn't she'd probably pick a name off of that top ten list.  We must make a stand!  No Jackson, no Ethan, no Noah!

I believe we have settled on Matthew for a boy.  Girl is still unsettled.

Names of the moment:

Matthew Charles (my, and my dad's middles names are Charles)
Kaitlin Grace (my wife's grandma's name was Grace)

discuss amongst yourselves.
Posts here are my own private opinions.  I do not speak for my employer.
