Could log in at first try tonight and could play without a hitch.

I toyed around with my Klingon who goes by the handy name "2 of 12". Love the Klingon HUD and Bird of Prey. Seems a bit unfinished yet, though, as many options (ship and char customization) seem lacking, and tooltips are missing or showing filler text (worse than playing as fed).

Tamas: finished the mission without problems. Are you sure you got all three escort groups? There's some syphon frigates, a battleship and a third group (destroyers?). Afterwards you scan the Ferengi vessel and then beam down to the hideout.

And to those Languishites joining fleets based on timezones: you can suck my ridges!

Heh, I joined a Klingon fleet of 98% americans  Not really my time zone but should go fine with the times I plan to play.

Yeah - more seriously that's been a problem in most MMOs I've played in - joining up with a server or a guild that has different times that people want to play.

I mean I'd love to group up with the Euros - but I've never seen Tamas online, and Syt only briefly.  GF I see more often, but I figure that must be due to some insomnia.  On the other hand I've grouped with katmai numerous times in games (though not really in STO yet), likely due to the similar time zone.
