Aren't you the one with the man-crush on Orton too?  If so, brutal.
I am.

Hang in there, you might see play off action in the next decade.

Shanahan has been hired by Snyder.  Hillarious.

Hope springs eternal  :P

Man Snyder let Shanahan stay there no matter what the coaching carousel is killing the team.  Also...rumor has it Shanahan likes Colt McCoy...do I dare to dream?

Is Shanahan the best evaluator of QB talent out there?  I'm sure he liked Cutler.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Who knows.  One thing we can be sure of is that the Redskins facility will soon include some top of the line tanning booths.

Why the hilarity at hiring Shanahan?  It would seem to be a good hire.

Now if Snyder can actually just  let the man do the job he hired him to do...

Don't know I would just have a fangasm if McCoy joined Orakpo on the Redskins.  It would simply be bonus points if he turns out to be as good as Orakpo.

He seemed to be better being less Snyderly when Gibbs was there so maybe a veteran coach Danny dearest respects is the best way to keep him inline.  I mean at least Jerry Jones actually played football, Snyder is just a fanboi playing with his toy football team.

Tom Brady is apparently the comeback player of the year.  That's just fucking stupid.

Snyder will inevitably destroy his head coach.  He can't help it.

I predict the Pats have a good chance of winning their first play off game. But I don't expect them to get very far, if even past the first game.  :(

Fuck you.  The Patriots will fail, even though the NFL will try their hardest to get the Patriots through.

Fuck.  Reports are filtering in that The Browns are lowballing Cribbs and have stated that their offer is final.  What a great start to your running the Browns franchise Holmgren. :bleeding:  I'm now betting the next step will be to fire Mangini.  If both go, I may have to abort my new fandom before it truly develops.  I don't have enough invested to bear the 2010 equivalent of Bernie getting cut. :(

It's the hurt that keeps giving.

What is a lowball offer for him?  I mean, Cribbs is a great return guy, but he's also only a return guy with a touch of utility back.

OK, $1.4 million is a lowball for anyone.

He's also been a loyal trooper for the franchise and kept quiet about the situation all year.  He vowed to let his performance on the field speak for itself to make a case for a raise, which I think it most certainly did.  The fact that Cribbs is the top return man in the NFL, the loyalty he's shown, the dedication to the fans and community, his position as a team leader, his kick coverage work, his flash/wildcat potential and actual results this year, and his versatility as a runningback, wider receiver, or quarterback makes him damned valuable in my opinion.  Hester makes a metric fuck ton more cash, as do such less well known and less skilled returners such as Roscoe Parrish for Buffalo.  For once, listen to Deion Sanders and "Pay da man!"
