 Isn't your lower unit perfectly safe in your pants?
As I was drafting that post I thought to myself "Wait, is Brain going to show up and make a penis joke?"  Then I thought "Probably, but it'll probably be funny, so who cares... roll with it."

I'm a little disappointed by the joke it produced, though.  :(

Sorry, I'm not a native speaker.

you're an excellent naive speaker, though.

270 square meters, around 2900 square feet.
Four bedrooms, dining room, living room, kitchen, three bathrooms.

 So is that a house then?  I seem to recall seeing American-style subdivisions in certain areas of Italy when I was there... I want to say this was outside of Milan, but can't remember for sure.

It's a large apartment in a townhouse. No lawns for me
Single houses are common in the suburbs of most of the cities here.

Oh, also, I have a boat.  Mono: worship me PLZ.

I worship you because of your elite job hunting and office-related knowledge, not because of your boat  :P

lawns are overrated in July and when it is 90 plus degrees outside, and the grass is high enough to hide a japanese soldier from WWII in.

Get off the couch and mow your lawn.

Ed, you don't have some slave to do the mowing for you?  Yard slaves are: plentiful here.

I can pay the neighbor kids to do it, but they destroy the garden.

Besides, I have a riding lawnmower.

You seem to be forgetting that a significant percentage (perhaps a majority) of the board's population lives in Europe.

I think my problem is that I thought the living conditions in Europe are similar to North America.

If you remember the first poll, it showed that a majority of ROTWers lived in appartments, while Americans lived in houses. It's definitely easier to get the sizes you look for in houses rather than in appartments.

Yup. Plus most ROTWers live in big cities, which further reduces the sizes available.

Raising kids you made yourself, mowing yards you don't need - I can now see the appeal of married life - it gives you a sense of purpose by requiring you to do stuff you think you need to do, whereas in fact you only do them because of the earlier choices you made. It's like the dailies in World of Warcraft.

Well, I guess at least you are not bored.
