I think 80s music, while good, doesn't really compare to the golden age that was the 90s.
Winner of THE grumbler point.

I recently put the soundtrack to The Crow back in the player.

:punk:

Like many here, I can't think of any music I liked, then grew to not like, then liked again.  Even the music I liked as a kid (not a teen), such as, oh, Huey Lewis, has a certain charm.  But starting from about age 13 my musical tastes have only grown.

But it is fun to re-discover bands that you haven't listened to in a while.  A group like The Cure (that I discovered around the age of 13-14), I will dig out every couple years or so and love them again.
Posts here are my own private opinions.  I do not speak for my employer.

Also, mentioning the Crow soundtrack has made me want to replay Helmet's Meantime. Bastards.

I don't even know where that CD is at.

I saw them open for Ministry for the Psalm 69 Tour.

I'm kidding, though i hadn't thought of them for a while  till I played Madden 10

It pained me having to explain who they are/were to my teenage cousin who is into similar music.

I remember going to KISS/King's X. Now, I'd fit into a Kiss crowd.

I went through the same thing with my goddaughter when she went through my old CD's.

Queensryche? Live? Devo? Who's that? What is a Jethro Tull?   :(
