I'd still fuck the shit out of Little Miss Business Suit with the Short Sexy Haircut, lizardness underneath or not.
If it's a remake they'll certainly have even more lizard love than before between Furries coming out in public and the need for ever more gratuitous sex.  Probably even have a Lesbian lizard.
PDH!

Hawt.  Think of all the forked tonguing.

Finally got to watch it last night.  Liked it overall, though it was quite rushed for a first episode, which should have been two hours at the very least.  Loved the libertarian/anti-Obama jabs :)

Sure, if those jokes had made much sense.

If you fail to see the analogy (don't care whether you like it or not), you're not as smart as I thought you were.

The visitors who promise us easy hope and change, inspiring messianic devotion among their followers?  Sorry, don't follow.

I didn't say I didn't get it. It's just a tad hammy.

You claimed it didn't make sense, ergo you didn't get it.

Hammy?  Maybe, but I'll take it.

A funny appraisal lifted from SyFy's Galactica forum of all places.  :P
Fans of one shitty remake busting on another?

BTW, what's the difference between a remake and a reboot?
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

A reboot changes the story line of the original.

A reboot is your childhood raped.

Just saw it myself (DLed it over iTunes).

They also implied that the Iraq war was a result of Visitor "sleepers".

And I'll echo what everyone else said - it seemed a bit rushed in the reveal.  I also miss the rather obvious "nazi" theme from the original V, where 'scientists' took the place of Jews.

Nazi's have been replaced by crude OBamanista parallels.  :(

it wasn't in the first hour either in the original...
I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.

If Microsoft Excel decided to stop working overnight, the world would practically end.

The new episode was much better, IMO.

So good propaganda for terrorists?
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011
