Hey Neil,
QuoteLB Brendon Ayanbadejo said he has torn quadricep. He doesn't know if it's season ending.

Jared Gaither's X-rays were negative, but they'll follow up with tests tomorrow.  Apparently, he was too big for Mass General's MRI machine.
I find that surprising, given that your average Masshole is a fat piece of shit.

Still, thank heaven that Gaither is intact.  Hopefully, he'll be back soon.  He's been a big contributor.  Ayanbadejo is also a huge loss.  Hopefully he'll be back in time for the playoffs.  And Lewis is right to keep after the corruption in the NFL.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Don't want to listen to me, listen to all around Ravens-hating NFL columnist Mike Preston:

QuoteIt was a bad day for NFL officiating

Except for middle linebacker Ray Lewis, most of the Ravens didn't want to criticize the officiating, so I will. I've been covering the NFL since 1987, and no one will ever accuse me of being a Ravens' homer, but this was one of the worst officiated games I've ever seen. Yes, the Ravens got hosed, to make it plain and simple. They didn't get any good spots on short yardage situations either on offense or defense.

I guess in the Boston and Foxborough areas, it's illegal to get within the same zip code of New England quarterback Tom Brady without drawing a roughing the quarterback penalty. It's even worse when Brady is gesturing to the official to throw the flag and then the official throws it, which draws laughter from Brady.

That really looks bad, or as Lewis says, "it's embarrassing to the league."

Lewis went off in the locker room for about five minutes after the game about the officiating.

The segment will be played repeatedly for the next couple of days, and the Ravens and Lewis will be blamed for having sour grapes. But that's not the case. Lewis will also be fined but I suggest the NFL review the tapes, and then start handing out fines to some of the officials for missed calls. It was a bad day for the NFL.

Just out of curiosity, what publication does Mr. Preston write for?

Holy crap, the Broncos are 4-0.  Maybe Orton is a good luck charm or something.

Pretty generous T&A on the new Peyton commercial.

Interesting.  Wonder why Seedy neglected to mention that small bit of info.

The Sun, but he gets more hate mail than the Indianapolis Colts.

Came crashing back to earth this week.  3-9 on my picks against the spread so far, I did overthink things and got a little too cute on some of them.  Picked too many road underdogs.  Oh well, hopefully I can go 1-1 on the lawst two games and stay above .500.

So he's one of those "tough love" local sports guys that still circles the wagons when the chips are down.  We have those here, too.

Too bad you've cried wolf so many times about the NFL hating you & officials cheating you-- otherwise I might take you seriously :P

You better be right, Neil, the Bronco's fans are going to be insufferable tomorrow.  I hate them...

Actually, he's a racist and hates all white Ravens players.

I don't have to "cry wolf", as history speaks for itself.

Brady did seem to have a magic bubble around him.

Pffft... the Ravens have a long way to go to match the Raiders.
