Do you prefer SFW thread titles or ones that can get you fired?

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

The Rammstein thread title was bit much for the general fora.
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

And the titles recently started by Martinus and Scipio?

I don't think my IT department is that bored between bouts of Quake 3 to check out my internet logs.

Either is fine. NSFW pictures are not cool, but words are okay. Most likely, no one in my IT would understand them.

I like the NSFW threads, but I just prefer them to be labelled.
First Maxim - "There are only two amounts, too few and enough."
First Corollary - "You cannot have too many soldiers, only too few supplies."
Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

Errr, I would have thought that in most cases IT monitoring looks for key words, so I don't see how words like "head" are going to be construed as NSFW.

Unless, of course, you have your IT department following your every move and checking every website you go to, in which case you have a bigger problem than threads about getting head, and whether the thread title is "NSFW" or not is irrelevant.

Exactly. I fail to see the difference between a blow job reference in a thread title or inside a thread about the state of global economy, if that is the level of monitoring he is worried about. In which case he should stop posting for work altogether because I can't see the "I didn't click on the bad threads" excuse working for him.

Wouldn't most people assume that a thread about giving or receiving head would be NSFW?

I'm not worried about IT monitoring, but I'd rather not have a topic page with a bunch of explicit items if someone sees it on my computer.

Yes, my boss would not care if he sees the usual Languish topic but catching a glimpse of "Do you like blowjobs" or "NEW RAMMSTEIN PORNO VID HERE" would lead to some awkward explanation.

If it has images of the act, then NSFW.
If it merely discusses which is preferrable without going into detail then SFW.

Well, as I said, we discuss explicit themes in threads here, irrespective of their topics. So frankly I don't see the issue - if you have a problem with someone catching a glimpse of what is being discussed on Languish then probably you shouldn't post here from work.

Then please don't post on Languish from work.

Asking people to mark threads with controversial pictures with NFSW is one thing, but asking people to censor words they use and topics they discuss is another - if you can't stand the heat, then get out of the kitchen.
