Tesla sales have cratered in Germany and Tesla is now only the 16th biggest EV car company here, behind some Chinese etc. competitors.

Dunno why Russia would need something to get influence over them. Both seem like they'd cooperate willingly.

It's sort of a red flag that the name of the recently bailed FBI agent is not mentioned.  Guy is named Jonathan Buma, he testified before Congress that the FBI was being used to investigate Hunter Biden and stymie his own investigation into Trump.  He was arrested last march on charges that he used sensitive information in a book he was writing.  The Musk and Thiel accusation comes from a Germany documentary shown last week.

If this story was in anyway accurate, it would have been reported in all of the major US news outlets.

It was reported in no US news outlets. At least not in the way that whatever this website might be, is reporting it.

Once again, I have to note that I am very concerned about the world of the future as people go further and further down the rabbit hole of misinformation because they don't get their news from actual news sites.
