Thank you! Likewise :)

How are you doing?

Well, not much has changed since 2018. Still single, still stubbornly trying to be a writer despite reality suggesting otherwise

Nah, got some potentially good things going, but the pandemic has slowed everything down. Still, can't complain.

I teach at a university now.

I had a daughter in April 2018

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

I am still an electrical engineer. Had my third and last kid, a daughter, in February 2019.

Sitting at home all year. It's been...a year.

It definitely has.

I found out I was essential this year, then I found out that is not as cool as it sounds.  I also found out that there are more stupid people out there than I thought.

Hmmm, nothing else comes to mind.
I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.
