Seems to be a common issue at other extreme right parties. Over here Vox's head honchos bend over backwards to dodge the question when they're asked if they're vaccinated, as their supporters count on plenty of anti vaxxers, but the issue at large is absolutely marginal in the whole of the country, so they try their damnest to avoid alienating their crazies while at the same time avoiding positioning themselves even further in the fringe.

Duque de Bragança

France has the Raoult ( a French professor already mentioned by Goupil Gris) cultists, plus a large part of the Greens singing the antivaccine tune.

The criticism from Marine and Zemmour is mostly targeted at the civil liberty aspect of the vaccine passport. Some fringe nutter such as UPR/Asselineau (anti-EU/NATO/UN) may be extreme though.

Not so much here yet - certainly not on the vaccine front. Anti-vaxxers generally seem a veritable horseshoe theory of crazy here <_< Anti-lockdown stuff has generally been far stronger on the right though.

And I had to laugh at George Monbiot's piece at how distressing it is left-wing people are falling for far-right conspiracies - which broadly seems to read as if he'd like them to stick primarily to left-wing conspiracies instead:

I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

I have often heard that sentiment expressed. I find it refreshing they can so easily grasp the logic and benefits of vaccines.

Also a handy reminder that one can be anti-something without actually knowing what it is.

I've scrolled through that Twitter account and I find it hard to tell if it's sincere, or if it's a mockery, similar to the old Colbert Report.  :hmm:

Posobiec is a fucking Nazi, it is entirely possible that he is that stupid.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

So you are still hopeful that one can be brought to worship the Goddess of Reason through acts of civic virtue?
Optimist.  :hmm:

During the state election in Lower Austria the anti-vaxx, anti-corona measures party "MFG" (Menschen Freiheit Grundrechte - Humans Freedom Basic Rights; MFG is also short for "Mit freundlichen Grüßen" - Best regards) gained over 6% of the vote and a couple seats in the state parliament. :bleeding:

The number of Covid cases is rising among 5-12 year olds in BC. Looking at the data, however, the cases seem to be concentrated in areas with lower levels of vaccination in the general community.

Vaccine situation is improving here

QuoteA total of 38.51 million people, or 75 percent of the country's population, have received their first shots of COVID-19 vaccines, and 23.95 million people, or 46.6 percent, have been fully vaccinated, the KDCA said.
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.
