I don't know, I think there's something in it. Both archipelagos have set up mini-Madagascars so they are indeed outliers (yet both had the first confirmed cases in Spain, given their high influx of tourists), but Andalucía had the first confirmed cases of local transmission and never exploded like other places did.

Nobody says the virus will just disappear with the heat, just that it might be slowed down.

Swedish statistical office has released numbers for mortality for the week 30/3-5/4.

2145 people died where in a average week 1816 deaths happen, so an increase of 18%. An increase of 329.

Reported number of Corona deaths went from 146 to 401, so an increase of 255. 76 more were reported on the 6th.

In Stockholm the mortality increased from 313 to 584 compared to same week last year.  So most deaths happened there.

This shows that daily Swedish statistics is quite good, probably within 10-15% error margin and this might explain the seemingly high mortality rate that Sweden has. When all is counted a few months or years from now we probably won't see a high increase of Swedish corona mortality when all the undiagnosed deaths are counted.
