But 1 of those is Missouri, which is on probation and banned from bowling this year.  So unless Army beats Navy to get to 6 wins, we get to see a 5-7 team in a bowl game this year.

The good news is that we are not going to see a 6 win Wyoming team not go to a bowl like last year.  And of course we won't!  Wyoming won 7 games even with a flood tide of injuries.

Sumlin didn't seem to mind losing the Territorial Cup to ASU again at all.

i was reading the buyout for Sumlin means he will likely get one more year to see what he can do?

Yeah, he isn't going anywhere.

I keep saying that firing Sumlin won't help anything, unless you have some kind of planned new coach who can do what nobody has ever done at Arizona - recruit better players.

The problem is not the coaching, the problem is the recruiting.

No idea, they named Jimmy Lake who has been the DC last two years and DB coach since 2014 as the new HC. some talk that this has been planned out as sucession for a year and why Lake turned down Alabama DC last year.

Petersen is staying on in advisory role with UW athletics, but some people are wondering if he might go to USC??

It came as a shock to everybody. I have heard he is moving over to the administration side of things and is going to stop coaching entirely for at least awhile.

That makes it sound like it was a personal issue, if true. Maybe he is having health problems?
