Why are we talking about "Africans" anyways? I could make a statement that "Europeans" follow Viktor Orban religiously, and it would not be incorrect, but still would be a brush too wide to paint with.

I know little about Bizarro-Guinea, but sure, withdrawn.

It's always been a shit hole border belt, not worth holding and fighting for, and the war went bad there for the Portuguese pretty quickly though there was a substantial recovery until SA-7s started to equip the guerrillas in 1973.

Because, Jacob wanted to find something positive to say about Castro?

CdM is just supporting any socialist because socialised healthcare is the only chance he gets to save his liver after years of alcohol abuse and no meaningful employment. The thing is, under President Donald J. Trump it ain't gonna happen.

Save my liver after years of alcohol abuse?  Stop confusing us American posters, you walking Karposi Sarcoma.  Your yeast infection is going to your brain again.

Two hashtags trending in light of the leftist morons mourning Castro:

#notmydictator
#trudeaueulogies

On the latter:

QuoteOsama Bin Laden was certainly a controversial figure, but his contribution to airport security is unparalleled

QuoteAgainst all odds, Charles Manson not only kept his family together, he made sure they achieved most of their squad goals

QuoteLet us remember Jack the Ripper as a great benefactor who worked tirelessly to get female prostitutes off the streets.

QuoteWe mourn Joseph Stalin's death. A strong national leader and visionary in the cause of population control

QuoteToday we mourn the death of Jeffrey Dahmer, who opened his home to the LGBTQ community and pushed culinary boundaries

QuoteToday we mourn painter, vegetarian and animal rights activist, Adolf Hitler. His death also highlights the need for suicide awareness

Also, this picture being posted around. Is this really a quote from him, and if so, could any Canuck explain in what context it was used?

The context is that Canadians are super weenies.

Yeah but to that degree? By the way, why the hell so many Americans seem to have a boner for Canada. It seems like an utterly shitty country. It's like an English speaking Belgium.

Trudeau does kind of look a little like Castro  :hmm:

Maybe his mother was fucked by Castro? I mean Trudeau senior was a kind and sensitive person so...

But standing against Apartheid before that was fashionable in the West probably scores the man a few points from an African POV.
he did it to piss off the US and UK.  Had the position been reversed, he would have supported the government.

It was never about (or should have never been about) his death anyway, it was about ending the commie regime--which still hasn't happened.
In all honesty, and despite what we may have thought, it seems Raul is intent on gradually modernizing the country and liberalizing the economy one small step at a time.

Might be better that way.  We should sit and watch.  As much as dictators goes, there are many much worst.

and besides, criticizing Cuba while keeping our mouth shut about Saudi Arabia is a tad silly, if our goal is to bring democracy everywhere.

Trudeau voted for this bill.

But then during the campaign, the Conservatives decided to go one step further and create a hotline for barbaric cultural practices.  It was a step too far, but then Justin decided to play the racism card and started pandering to the extremists who could get the vote out and denounced the hotline and the bill.  No journalists pointed the fact that he did vote for it though, but that was expected.

Who knew that Seeds had a hard-on for Castro?

<raises hand>

Yeah, this isn't new.  Seedy went hard-left after the 2008 election.  Up till then, he'd been a John McCain Republican.  After that he became a Castro fan-boy.

2008? Huh. Thought he was a Castro fan long before that.
