I expect to continue pretty much the same as I have under the Obama administration.  Can't really see things being much different in my day to day. 

I guess I have a lot of ammo to burn off at the range, since I can't profiteer from it as I expected to.

He has been elected President so he gets to be President. Nothing really for me to do but wait around until the next time to vote. Same time next year for some local stuff I guess.

I just have to hope that somehow he actually does a good job. If he does a shit job then hopefully his party will suffer in 2018.

Was thinking about getting married next year and returning home in 2018. Given how poorly the economy is likely to be doing, and the attitude towards immigrants. My plans are now in serious doubt.

Well, Canada is not as cold as it sounds.  There are some lovely places over here.  Depending on where you live, taxes can go from bad to horrible.  Our head of State lives abroad and our chief of government is a cheerleader, but there's a price to pay to avoid Trumpland!

I think it was a mistake to be emotionally invested in elections.  There is no point trying to stop an incoming tsunami.  Observation is good enough.
