Quote from: Norgy on December 12, 2024, 12:49:02 PMWho the fuck are you going to send to Norway? Hulk Hogan? Skeletor? Hannibal Lecter? Gaetz? A piece of lefse and a cod?

Hogan won't go to any climate where it is uncomfortable to remove his shirt.
Skeletor is very sensitive about using that name, please be polite.  He prefers to use the name "Stephen Miller" now
Hannibal Lecter is being kept in reserve to keep an eye on Vance just in case.  No loose ends like Pence last time.
Gaetz is going to the EEOC.
No food items will get ambassadorships unless served on a McDonalds or KFC menu.  The Japan franchises don't count.

That puts my mind at ease. So it will be Pete Hegseth once his confirmation's going down the drain.

Might be Hagar the Horrible, though. I dunno if Trump reads cartoons, with all the tweeting from the toilet.

PS. Serious note. These things worry me. The world needs American diplomacy. Guilfoyle is deeply unqualified. She does get to work up a great tan, and will probably meet a some very nice men there, but for my part, my cup runneth over of WTF. I'd probably shag her, though. Just for kicks.

I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.

If Microsoft Excel decided to stop working overnight, the world would practically end.

Psycho chick Kari Lake will head up VOA.

She's originally from the Quad Cities.

Hmm.  At this point, anyone in this administration who's not a pervert?

I am actually waiting for a phone call these next days.

Norgy, all these years, you've very successfully kept quiet about being a US tv personality.

I am more of a perv, but contain multitudes.

Donald Trump, posting on Truth Social at 3:30 am

QuoteNo one can answer why we subsidize Canada to the tune of over $100,000,000 a year? Makes no sense! Many Canadians want Canada to become the 51st State. They would save massively on taxes and military protection. I think it is a great idea. 51st State!!!

He's right, no one can answer why.

Assuming he's talking about the trade deficit, he's actually out by a couple of orders of magnitude.

A $100 million dollar trade deficit would be nothing.

If he's not talking about the trade deficit, then I have no fucking clue what he's talking about.

The whole "51st State" thing from Trump...

On the one hand it's clearly trolling.  He's a very online person, in particular for his age, so you can tell he says it because it gets a reaction.

But how do you respond to online trolling from someone who is going to be the most powerful man in the world?

It's easy to say "just ignore it".  Normally that's the best thing to do to online trolling (something I'm slowly getting better at here).  But that's in an environment where the troll can't actually do anything to you.

But there's the worry that if we don't somehow feed Trump's ego by responding to his trolling that he'll just amp up his provocations - including into the real world.

Trump seems to be really getting obsessed with getting Canada into the US.  Has he hired Tim as a senior advisor?
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

I've said it before, but it's because he's still upset that Ivanka is attracted the Trudeau :P
