What does a TRUMP presidency look like?

Looks like 10 Republicans and one Independent who used to be a Republican voted to impeach.

I say looks like because for some reason I can't find a news report with the final tally.  Everything I've looked at cuts off with 5 left to vote.  Unless those are abstentions.

IIRC there were 4 or 5 'no vote' Republicans.

So approximately 92% of House republicans were happy to support Trump over and above the US democratic election process.

What degree of confidence do you have in the congressman's statement? He is also asserting that two republican congresspeople emotionally broke down in his office and then the next day used their statements as a cudgel against them. It could be true. He also wouldn't be the first congressperson to distort events to his side's partisan advantage.

You're being a little schizo Fredo.  I thought you were holding up this Congressman as a model of how it should be done.

No he's not!  I speak Schizo and I haven't a clue what he's on about.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

The 10 Republicans that voted for the impeachment were the following:

Liz Cheney (WY-AL)
Anthony Gonzalez (OH-16)
Jaime Herrera Beutler (WA-3)
John Katko (NY-24)
Adam Kinzinger (IL-16)
Peter Meijer (MI-3)
Dan Newhouse (WA-4)
Tom Rice (SC-7)
Fred Upton (MI-6)
David Valadao (CA-21)

Four other Republicans did not vote. No idea on who's the independent you mention.

Whilst looking for another word in an etymological dictionary, I came across the entry for fake:

Quote
fake [late 18th century] originally slang; origin uncertain. Perhaps related to German 'fegen 'sweep, trash'.
The verb was part of thieves' cant from the early 19th century meaning 'tamper with (something) for the purpose of deception ....

Yeah but he is a centrist though, hence why he doesn't get as much attention as that other New England independent senator who caucuses with the Democrats.

King was a Democrat I thought :hmm:

He's in the Senate though?

I thought you meant Amash.

Yeah I have no idea what Yi is referring to. King hasn't voted yet on the 2nd impeachment. (His press secretary  is friend and former co worker of mine)

Amash was in the House and he is out of office now. Pity he was one of my favorite Congressmen because he would really comment a lot on each vote, very informative.

How many people do you know?

Not that many. He use to be news anchor here in town, went and worked for Murkowski and now King.  There is a pipeline of folks working for news organizations moving over to government spokesman ( former co workers who were reporters or anchors working for Governor office, state troopers etc..)
