You know what? Anyone who tries to defend or dismiss the whole "send her back" ugliness, I just don't want to talk with.

This is a very clear fucking division line. If you think it is ok to call for citizens of your country to "go back where they came from", most of them whose parent(s) also born in the same country to make it worse, then we clearly have very different views on what equality, heck on what being a human, means.

So either drop the troll act, or fuck off.

And yet one or two people here will still vote for him in Nov.2019.

Of course, we don't have to interact with everyone on here.

The Minsky Moment

Fact is Trump was exposed for who he is when he saw the fine people in Virginia waving the swastika and wearing their KKK hoods. No one should be surprised when the other shoe keeps dropping.

The fact that he is baiting his yahoos further into this vileness is a problem though.

The "send her back " is a disgusting new low.

Not that far from "Lock her up".  In the middle of a political campaign advocating for imprisoning your political opponents (particularly for crap that isn't criminal and you are doing 6 months later) isn't the healthiest of things for a democracy.

The latest developments are disgusting but also completely unsurprising.

What a childish little bitch. The least he could do is commit to it. That "I know nothing about it" he tacked onto the end is some weak ass shit.

QuoteTrump on Rep. Omar before leaving White House: "There's a lot of talk about the fact that she was married to her brother. I know nothing about it."

Wait, where does this come from? is he just making some random thing up? if so married to your brother is a weird angle to take
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".
Hubris must be punished. Severely.

Camerus

I'd say it's definitely worse than the "lock her up" BS, as awful as that was.

Yeah. Of course Trump is playing the "go back to Africa" (or wherever) card. That is who he is. That who he has always been. I expect no less. He was a scumbag, is a scumbag, and will always be one.

A portion of the American people love low-character scumbags without principles and they are loving it. It was why he was a celebrity in the first place.

I agree.  The "lock her up" was purely personal, while "send her back" has a "hate crime" component to it.

It's another conspiracy theory peddled by the right.

It's personal because he had one real opponent at the time, but there's no question that there would have been some vile slogan chanted regardless of who it was.

Just four republican representatives voted in yesterday's vote to condemn Trump's statement, 12 abstained and a mere 181 voted that they where happy with the his bile spewing.

The divide in US politics seems quite clear between those who stand up to bullying racists and those who'll go along with it if it's politically/personally advantageous or because they themselves are bigots and agree with Trump.
