Look at Big Boy Trump, not afraid to stand up against an 80 years old with brain cancer.

But McCain knocked it out of the park with his response.  "I've faced far greater challenges than this"

Kindly knock it the fuck off.  You can say whatever you want about me, but leave my kids out of it.

My parents have kids too, so and your anti-healthcare bullshit can kindly fuck off yourself.  Piece of shit.

Again, say what you will about me.  But my kids are off limits.  I'm not asking for an apology or retraction or anything like that.  Just knock it off.

What happens when someone crosses your limits?

It makes him angry.

You wouldn't like him if he's angry.

Yeah, I figured you'd jump to his defense  :(

Anyway, I am on record as being in favor of HPV vaccines.  I said as much during the debate over the mandate in Texas a few years back.

Ah...well I am just glad they still let me vaccinate my kids.

I don't really have anything to threaten, I guess. Maybe I could post more Poll Cat cartoons.

I simply explained what I saw as Seedy's line of reasoning, with neither endorsement nor condemnation.

Glad to hear you're in favour of HPV vaccines, since I think it's a pretty sensible public health measure.

QuoteSenate approves Callista Gingrich as ambassador to Vatican
By HENRY C. JACKSON
10/16/2017 09:27 PM EDT

The Senate on Monday confirmed Callista Gingrich, the wife of former House Speaker and GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich, to serve as U.S. ambassador to the Vatican.

The vote was 70-23, with Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and several other Democrats joining all Republicans in favor.

Callista Gingrich serves as the CEO of Gingrich Productions and is an author, filmmaker and former congressional aide. Her husband was an outspoken supporter of, and informal adviser to, Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign.

She is the third wife of Newt Gingrich, who converted to Catholicism when he married her.

Trump had announced her nomination in May.

Trump wouldn't make a very good bereavement counselor.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

So, um, what about this... rather peculiar document?

Quote
Internal White House documents allege manufacturing decline increases abortions, infertility, and spousal abuse

White House officials working on trade policy were alarmed last month when a top adviser to President Trump circulated a two-page document that alleged a weakened manufacturing sector leads to an increase in abortion, spousal abuse, divorce and infertility, two people familiar with the matter said.

The documents, which were obtained by The Washington Post, were prepared and distributed by Peter Navarro, director of the White House Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy. They were presented without any data or information to back up the assertions, and reveal some of the materials the Trump administration reviewed as it was crafting its trade policy.

Two administration officials confirmed the authenticity of the documents, which have emerged as the administration has threatened to withdraw from a free trade agreement with South Korea and is taking a hard-line stance against Canada and Mexico in renegotiating the North American Free Trade Agreement.
(...)
Navarro has urged Trump to favor bilateral trade agreements over regional ones such as NAFTA, and he supported the president's decision to abandon the Trans-Pacific Partnership. His documents alarmed other White House officials, who worried that such unverified information could end up steering White House policy, the two administration officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss the documents, which were not released publicly.

The documents list what Navarro alleges are the problems that have resulted from a "weakened manufacturing base." Some of the consequences are economic, including "lost jobs," "depressed wages," and "closed factories."

But a separate sheet claims "Socioeconomic Costs" of the decline of the country's manufacturing industry, such as "Higher Divorce Rate," "Increased Drug/Opioid Use," "Rising Mortality Rate," "Higher Abortion Rate," among many others.
(...)
Navarro, an economist, is part of a wing of small but influential White House advisers who believe decades of free trade policies have decimated the U.S. manufacturing base and allowed other countries, such as China, Mexico, and Canada to take advantage of the U.S. They blame U.S. reliance on exports for hurting U.S. manufacturing, something Trump has promised to reverse.

Doesn't sound all that crazy to me.

Really? You think we need to raise taxes on goods to save the economy?

I cannot count on right wingers for anything.
