Shame the rest of the GOP isn't too different from him at this point.

Sounds like you just don't take your cell phone with you on a trip to the US.  Maybe buy a burner phone when you arrive or something.

That will make TSA especially suspicious. "It's strange that someone in your demographic has no smartphone/laptop/tablet when traveling. Would you mind to step over here for a moment?"
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

It wasn't until I moved to London that I stopped having a 'dumb'phone. -_-

How he was there to keep an eye on Flynn?

Team nepotism FTW! :D Now Kushner just needs to reverse the trade balance with China and bring peace to the Middle East and Bannon will be gone for good.

Woot!

First Flynn and now Bannon...that's two sociopaths down, a few more to go.

God bless General McMaster.

I'm worried that Brannon is just being shuffled into a less publicly-visible role.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

Less publicly visible roles tend to have less statutory power.

And a lot less bureaucratic power.  As a Principal, Bannon had a lot of access and could request a lot of analysis that he can no longer command.  He no longer has unlimited Need to Know.

It will be interesting to see if anyone has the balls to ask him to step out of the SCIF while they discuss stuff he's no longer cleared for.
The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.   -G'Kar

One step at a time, but this is an important step.

All he needs is a puppet in there. While he's still in the government he can still do all his shit
