That is rather targeted.

Enjoy your eggs, USA.

If I go back to France, they would set me on fire like that Tesla dealership wouldn't they?

You just need to get a letter of safe passage from our resident Europeans and you should be fine.

I'm pretty sure that's the one tarrif my compatriots won't care about. Leaves more for us to drink.

Do what Americans have been doing for decades, sew a maple leaf on your backpack ;) :D

Lots of Americans in Lisbon when I was there last week; for peace of mind I just assumed they were all Democrats  :bowler:

HVC

Ohhh Lisbon. How'd you like it? I hear it's changed a lot.

Although I also hear there's backlash against American in Lisbon because they blame you for skyrocketing housing prices. But it's not because of trump , at least. that's something, right?

Portugal did that golden visa thing right? Seems like a lot of rich internet nomads moved there in recent years and screwed it all up for the locals.

I was in Porto and Coimbra too. I love Portugal and the Portuguese, prices are also great, but it was a wet fortnight unfortunately. Was my first time in Lisbon, it was far more cosmopolitan than I expected, also tidier and glossier (I was in the central area of course, the suburbs may have been different).

Provide a highly educated workforce for near slave labor wages.

Fucking Christ, these people know nothing.
Getting ready to make IEDs against American Occupation Forces.

"But I didn't vote for him"; they cried.

I am curious what exactly another country has to do to be an asset to the United States according to the bizarro world economics of Trumpism.

Yeah, go towards Alfama and Martin Moniz and it gets... uhm let's say rougher. I hear it's gotten worse, but that second hand. Glad you liked it.

Golden visas and nomads, yeah. I don't even think Americans were number one, they just got the most blame. As always I blame Airbnb.

It is awkward because the digital nomads probably bring in a fair amount of foreign exchange which is a good thing; but the disparity between their incomes and Portuguese wages is yet another economic inequality to piss people off.

Norgy

I wish someone had warned the world a Trump presidency might not be brilliant for all.
And told Americans he is a bull-shitting con man.

That would have been great.
