Now that I know the truth, I don't hold Trump's "grab 'em by the pussy" comments against him any more.  He was just acting in self-defense.

I'm embarrassed. I've been making the mistake of associating with you. It won't happen again. :)

The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

So I saw something because one of Trump's defence covered their head while drinking water because he isn't wearing his kippah. Someone looked into it and apparently the Senate still has a ban on religious headcoverings - the House did until 2018 and the election of Ilhan Omar

It feels like that rule was almost certainly anti-semitic when introduced and is now just a slightly wider form of bigotry.

Not sure which thread this belongs in, but...

Please tell me this site is some kind of non funny satire?

I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

After you mentioned this I then happened to notice the lead prosecutor, James Ruskin (sp?) looked like he was wearing a kippah, that or he had a big bald patch at the back of his heard or maybe he's has a very bald top and is doing a better job than Trump with the front combo-over.

It was actually just a ban on wearing hats of any sort.  Religious headgear is only mentioned in the revision to the rules (which still stand, except for religious headress).

They blew up Trump's hotel and casino in Atlantic City today.  https://twitter.com/i/status/1362041922794233862  That seems like a fitting way to end all of this.
